Upper Dublin Community Pool Staff - Multiple Positions

Upper Dublin Township is looking for qualified individuals to fill several open positions at the Upper Dublin Community Pool for the summer season. Qualified candidates are those that will remain current throughout the season. The entire pool staff is under the direction of the Department of Parks & Recreation. *Certifications are available through UDP&R.

MANAGER - Individuals will fill a supervisory/administrative role. All pool staff reports directly to the Pool Manager. Qualified candidates are those with senior lifesaving credentials* that will remain current throughout the season. Applicants should have strong leadership skills, computer and organizational skills, money handling and a friendly personality. 
Wages: Starting at $25.00 per house **overtime rate paid on holidays
Wednesday-Sunday | June 12-August 30 | 11:00am to 6:00pm (Wed-Fri) and 12:00pm to 8:00pm (weekends and holidays)

 
 
ASSISTANT MANAGER - Individuals will fill a supervisory/administrative role assisting the Pool Manager. All pool staff reports directly to the Pool Manager. Qualified candidates are those with senior lifesaving credentials* that will remain current throughout the season. Applicants should have strong leadership skills, computer and organizational skills, money handling, and a friendly personality. 
Wages: Starting at $20.00 per hour **overtime rate paid on holidays
Wednesday-Sunday | June 12-August 30 | 11:00am to 6:00pm (Wed-Fri) and 12:00pm to 8:00pm (weekends and holidays)

 

 

 

LIFEGUARD - Individuals will fill lifeguard positions. Qualified lifeguard candidates are those with senior lifesaving credentials* that will remain current throughout the season. WSI's and Lifeguard Trainers are strongly considered.
Wages: Starting at $16.50 per hour **overtime rate paid on holidays
Wednesday-Sunday | June 12-August 30 | 11:30am to 6:00pm (Wed-Fri) and 12:30pm to 8:00pm (weekends and holidays)

 

FRONT DESK - Individuals will fill administrative positions. Qualified candidates are those with computer skills, money handling, math skills and a friendly personality. 
Wages: Starting at $18.00 per hour **overtime rate paid on holidays
Wednesday-Sunday | June 12-August 30 | 11:30am to 6:00pm (Wed-Fri) and 12:30pm to 8:00pm (weekends and holidays)

 

 

Candidates must be available to work a varying schedule of weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The Manager will post schedules bi-weekly. Time-off is granted as scheduling permits and with adequate notice. Staff members are scheduled to report to work before opening to prepare the facility - cleaning rest rooms, cleaning the pool, cleaning up the grounds, etc.

BONUS INCENTIVES:

  1. If a newly hired or returning guard recruits a guard, they will receive a $50 bonus per guard who is hired work a minimum of 250 hours during the current season. 
  2. You will be eligible for a $250 bonus at the end of the summer if you work a minimum of 250 hours.
